AIGI 25SC Silicone-Core Aramid Packing
AIGI 25SC builds a single resilient silicone-rubber core into the wear-resisting aramid braid of AIGI 25. The elastic core gives the packing better memory against radial shaft motion and vibration, adding shaft stability that translates directly into longer life in difficult abrasive and slurry service.

- Yellow single-core braid: The braid is aramid fibre around a single silicone-rubber core, covering moderately acidic through alkaline media, with far higher pressure tolerance in reciprocating duty than on rotating shafts.
- Flushing helps: As with other aramid packings in abrasive service, flushing helps keep solids out of the stuffing box.
- Family alternatives: If the shaft runs true, plain AIGI 25 is sufficient; if radial motion is extreme, step up to the multi-core AIGI 25MSC.
- Balanced middle choice: The single-core 25SC is the balanced middle option for typical slurry equipment.
