AIGI 522S-PU Wedge-Cut Spring-Energized Rotary Seal
The AIGI 522S-PU is a single-split rotary seal in polyurethane, built on AIGI's patented reverse wedge-cutting and spring-energized sealing technology. It brings in-place seal replacement to very large, slow-turning machinery at a cost well below double-split alternatives.

- Largest bores in the pair: The polyurethane version reaches the largest bores in the 522S pairing.

- Gentle temperatures, slow shafts: Polyurethane suits gentler temperatures and slow shafts.
- Hotter duties need 522S-N: Where service runs hotter or faster, the NBR-based 522S-N is the stronger choice.
- Check runout first: Like its sibling, the split version expects a truer-running shaft than the non-split 522 seals, so check runout when selecting between the families.
