AIGI 693VG Valve Pre-loading Disc Spring Kit
The AIGI 693VG Valve Pre-loading Disc Spring Kit live-loads valve stem packing. Each kit combines disc springs of the correct material, heat treatment and load curve, so the packing gland keeps the right sealing force as the packing wears and relaxes.

- Avoids under-loading: A spring with too little force stops providing sealing load once bolt preload relaxes, which is no better than having no spring at all.

Where It's Used
- Packed valves: Live-loading the gland bolts on valves sealed with compression packing that need a steady gland load between maintenance intervals.
- Limiting stem leakage: Valves where leakage along the stem must be kept to a minimum.
- With AIGI packing: Complements the AIGI Castle® Packing System and AIGI gland packings.
