SuperChem 773H Heavy-Duty Sliding Paste
SuperChem 773H is a synthetic-based, extreme-pressure sliding paste for heavily loaded, slow-moving contact surfaces. Its outstanding pressure capability and high permeability let it protect threads, slideways, guides and press fits where ordinary greases are squeezed out and the metal starts to gall.
Product Benefits
- Built for heavy contact: High-load, low-speed contact is the classic failure mode for conventional grease: the film collapses, metal touches metal, and galling or seizure follows. 773H is built for exactly this regime.
- Extreme pressure capability: It withstands extremely high pressures and temperatures while keeping friction remarkably low, so mating surfaces slide instead of welding.
- Penetrates tight clearances: Its very fine solid particles penetrate into tight clearances and stay in the contact zone under shock loading.
- Cuts costly wear: That persistence reduces wear on the components that are hardest and costliest to replace.
Where It's Used
- Sliding and contact surfaces: Typical duties are high-pressure, high-temperature sliding and contact surfaces: threaded connections, machine slideways and guides, and press-fit assemblies.
- Heavy loads, slow motion: It earns its keep wherever heavy loads move slowly: presses, jigs, heavy fasteners and adjustment mechanisms.
- Workshops and plants: Maintenance workshops and process plants alike find daily uses for it.
Good to Know
- Fine-particle synthetic paste: 773H is a dark grey paste of soft, workable consistency, formulated on a synthetic base with extremely fine solid lubricant particles, fine enough to enter narrow fits without jacking them apart.
- Safe on copper alloys: It is kind to copper alloys, so it can be used on bronze nuts and bushings.
- Thin-coat application: Being a paste rather than a fluid grease, it is applied as a thin coat by brush or wipe.
- A little goes far: The aim is a complete film on the contact faces, not a filled cavity.
