T2B Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger
The Alfa Laval T2 is the smallest gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchanger in the Industrial line, built from corrugated metal plates sealed by clip-on gaskets. It packs efficient heat transfer into a very compact unit for general heating and cooling duties across virtually all industries.

Good to Know
- Materials as supplied: Plates are supplied in a widely used molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel grade, with gaskets in nitrile or EPDM, and connections available in stainless steel or titanium.
- Frame and design range: The frame is epoxy-painted carbon steel, and the design covers vacuum conditions as well as sub-zero and high-temperature duties.
- Simple threaded hook-up: Connections are of the external threaded type, which keeps installation simple in small-bore piping.
- Easy step up in size: Because it is the entry point of the Industrial range, moving up in capacity later is a matter of stepping to a larger frame in the same family.
