ITT Engineered Valves
Fabri-Valve CF33 / 133 Ported Slide Gate
The Fabri-Valve CF33/CF133 is a ported slide gate valve built for on/off duty in heavy slurries. Its bi-directional, soft-seated design seals reliably regardless of flow direction, and purpose-designed body liners and constant contact seats are engineered for exceptionally long seat life in punishing media.
Product Benefits
- Built for heavy slurry: Heavy slurries wear out conventional gate valves quickly, and this family is designed to counter that.
- Low seat stress: Body liners and constant contact seats minimize stress on the seats, so sealing surfaces last longer between interventions.
- Self-gasketing seats: The valve installs cleanly against raised-face or flat-faced, lined or unlined flanges without separate gaskets.
- Containment bonnet option: The C133/F133 configurations add a containment bonnet on the bottom flange that captures any discharge as the gate cycles.
- Cleaner, safer operation: That containment is a practical advantage wherever housekeeping, safety or product loss is a concern.
Where It's Used
- On/off isolation: This valve family is intended for isolating heavy slurries rather than throttling them.
- Thick, solids-laden streams: It targets process streams where ordinary valves struggle to seal and survive.
- Bi-directional shutoff: It suits pipelines where a clear ported gate and dependable shutoff in either flow direction are what matter.
Good to Know
- Body and gate materials: Bodies are offered in stainless grades or ductile iron and gates in stainless, selected to customer specification.
- Replaceable soft seat: The soft seat comes in a choice of elastomers with a polymer support ring or liner, so the trim can be matched to the medium.
- Many operator choices: Handwheels, bevel gears and chainwheels are available alongside cylinder and electric actuators.
- Beyond the standard rating: Higher-pressure and higher-temperature designs can be supplied where the standard rating is not enough.
