- Manual to automated: Actuation options span the E-Z Spin handwheel, bevel gear, chainwheel, cylinder, and electric actuators on a universal yoke, covering everything from occasional manual isolation to automated sequencing.

- Materials to suit: Standard construction uses several stainless steel grades with the gate matched to the body, and special alloys are available for aggressive chemistry.
- Carbon steel R-series: An R-series variant uses carbon steel for external parts where full stainless steel is unnecessary.
- Dependable stem seal: Larger cast valves and all fabricated valves come with energized cored packing for a more reliable seal around the stem.
- High-temperature builds: Very hot services call for high-temperature fasteners, and the hottest applications should be reviewed with the factory.
- Safe maintenance: The universal yoke includes a lockout so the valve can be isolated safely for maintenance.
