Fabri-Valve OM150 Urethane-Lined Knife Gate Valve

The Fabri-Valve OM150 is a urethane-lined knife gate valve for the most aggressive abrasive and corrosive slurries. A proprietary hard urethane lining shields the valve body while a patented perimeter and chest seal delivers bi-directional, bubble-tight shutoff with zero discharge of process media to the environment.

Product Benefits

  • Body protected from wear: In severe slurry service the valve body itself becomes a wear part. The OM150 protects it with a hard urethane lining that is molded and mechanically bonded to each body half.
  • Lining locked in place: The lining takes the abrasion while the machined body halves lock it firmly in place, dramatically extending valve life at an economical price point.
  • Nothing gets past: The patented one-piece perimeter and chest seal closes off the gate path completely, so nothing leaks past the gate and nothing discharges to the surroundings.
  • Triple gate scrapers: Molded triple scrapers clean the gate on every stroke.
  • Adjust under pressure: Injectable packing can be adjusted under line pressure without taking the valve out of service.

  • Converts as plants automate: A universal yoke allows conversion between handwheel and cylinder operation, with bevel gear also available, so the valve adapts as a plant automates.

Good to Know

  • Elastomer to suit: The seal is available in EPDM, Viton, and Aflas, chosen to match the chemistry and temperature of the service, and higher-temperature builds can be requested.
  • Non-rising stem: The stem is non-rising, keeping the threads out of the process and the overall height compact.
  • Water-hammer resistant gate: The gate is stainless steel and robust enough to resist water-hammer distortion.
  • Tested with zero leakage: Each valve is shell tested above its rating and seat tested at both low and full pressure with zero allowable leakage.
  • Standard face-to-face: Face-to-face dimensions follow the recognized industry standard for resilient-seated knife gates.
