Pure-Flo 970 Stainless Steel Manual Diaphragm Valve

The Pure-Flo 970 is a compact manual weir diaphragm valve with a 316 stainless steel bonnet, offered in the smaller line sizes common to pharmaceutical and bioprocessing installations. It is autoclavable and built to stand up to standard washdown protocols.

Product Benefits

  • Stainless bonnet, PES handwheel: The stainless bonnet pairs with an FDA-compliant PES handwheel for a light, corrosion-resistant package.
  • Washdown resistance: The combination resists alcohol, chloride and most caustic washdowns.
  • Quick to service: Easy assembly and disassembly simplify maintenance and diaphragm change-out.
  • Position at a glance: A rising handwheel and visual position indicator let operators read valve position immediately.
  • Diaphragm protected: An adjustable travel stop and an O-ring splash seal are standard, keeping the diaphragm safe from over-compression.

Where It's Used

  • Pharma and bioprocessing: It serves pharmaceutical and bioprocessing plants.
  • Compact hygienic lines: Its place is on small hygienic process and utility lines.
  • Small footprint: It is chosen where an autoclavable valve with stainless topworks is wanted without taking up much room.

Good to Know

  • 316L wetted path: The wetted path is a 316L stainless body with PTFE or elastomer diaphragm options, backed by a stainless steel stem and compressor.
  • End connections: Hygienic clamp, tubing and international end connections are available.
  • Weir design benefits: As a weir-type Pure-Flo valve, its diaphragm isolates the mechanism from the product and the design supports in-line maintenance.
  • Small-size specialist: It covers the smaller end of the size range, while larger lines are served by other bonnets in the family.
