Pure-Flo Bypass Valve

The Pure-Flo Bypass Valve is a hygienic diaphragm valve that combines two flow paths in a single body: a larger main valve for rapid filling and a small integral bypass for slow, precise flow. It was developed to bring large vessels up to volume quickly without sacrificing accuracy at the end of the fill.

  • Large tank filling: The design is aimed at biopharmaceutical process systems that fill large tanks.
  • WFI, media and buffer: Most typical are water-for-injection (WFI) storage, media hold and buffer preparation vessels.
  • Fast fill, precise finish: Any point of fill where a batch must reach volume quickly and then be finished precisely is a natural fit.

Good to Know

  • Wrought stainless bodies: Bodies are machined from wrought stainless steel as standard.
  • High-alloy options: AL6XN and Hastelloy cover more aggressive services, and other materials are available on request.
  • Standard Pure-Flo topworks: The valve accepts standard Pure-Flo topworks, so actuation and diaphragm choices follow the familiar Pure-Flo platform.
  • Hygienic end connections: Tube-weld ends in common gauges, DIN/ISO standards and Tri-Clover Tri-Clamp sanitary connections are all available, making it straightforward to drop the valve into an existing clean-utility loop.
