Pure-Flo Chromatography Valve

The Pure-Flo Chromatography Valve machines the cluster of diaphragm valves that connects a chromatography column to process piping into one integral block. A single compact assembly does the work of several individual valves while sharply reducing internal surfaces and hold-up volume.

  • Fewer welds and dead legs: Building column connections from discrete valves and fittings multiplies welds, contact surfaces and potential dead legs, all of them liabilities in hygienic service.

  • Replaces a valve group: It handles the routing duties that normally require a group of valves around the column.
  • Downstream processing: It suits downstream processing steps where the product is valuable and every bit of recovery and cleanliness matters.

  • Two block variants: One block carries an integral bypass valve and one does not, so the assembly can be matched to the piping scheme.
  • Patented design: The block design is patented.
  • 316L and special alloys: Bodies come in 316L stainless steel, with special alloys such as AL6XN and Hastelloy available on request.
  • Hygienic connections: Connections cover hygienic tubing in common gauges, DIN/ISO standards and Tri-Clover Tri-Clamp ends.
  • Common spares: Standard Pure-Flo topworks and diaphragms are used, keeping spares common with the rest of a Pure-Flo installation.
