Pure-Flo Modular Valve
The Pure-Flo Modular Valve is a hygienic diaphragm valve platform built around a modular compressor that accepts every Pure-Flo diaphragm type. Its signature feature is changeover between PTFE and elastomer diaphragms without disassembling the actuator.
Product Benefits
- No actuator teardown: Switching diaphragm types normally means pulling the actuator apart, a slow job with room for error.
- Change type in place: The modular compressor lets maintenance crews move between PTFE and elastomer diaphragms with no actuator disassembly, so a process change or a maintenance upgrade does not turn into a rebuild.
- Floating compressor: A robust stainless steel tube nut allows the compressor to float, distributing closing forces evenly across the diaphragm and minimizing point loading.
- Longer diaphragm life: That gentler seating extends diaphragm life, which is where most of a hygienic valve's cost of ownership sits.
Where It's Used
- Advantage 2.1 and ACS: The modular design is used on the Pure-Flo Advantage 2.1 and ACS actuators across hygienic processing.
- Clean-service plants: Typical settings are biopharmaceutical suites, clean utilities and similar sanitary services.
- Small to large sizes: Forged two-way bodies, wrought block bodies and cast bodies cover applications from small point-of-use valves up to larger line sizes.
Good to Know
- 316L and special alloys: Bodies are 316L stainless steel with special alloys such as C22, C276 and AL6XN available.
- Polished interiors: Interiors come finely polished, with electropolishing as an option.
- Wide connection range: Connections span hygienic clamp ends, tube-weld gauges, ISO, SMS and DIN standards, and schedule pipe.
- One family, any diaphragm: Because the platform is compatible with all Pure-Flo diaphragm types, a plant can standardize on one valve family and still tailor each installation's diaphragm to its service.
