7200 SB/CB API 610 (BB5)

The Goulds Model 7200SB/CB is a double-casing, radially split, multistage, between-bearings pump built to API 610 / ISO 13709 as a type BB5 machine. This barrel-type construction represents the top tier of process-pump pressure capability, engineered for the most severe high-pressure, high-temperature injection and feed services.

  • Double-casing pressure containment: When a duty exceeds what split-case multistage pumps can safely contain, the double-casing BB5 arrangement is the answer: the radially split inner assembly sits inside a robust outer barrel.
  • Hot-service alignment: Centerline mounting preserves alignment at elevated temperatures.

  • Integral flanged connections: Casing connections are integrally flanged, with top-top nozzles standard and flanges available in the highest pressure classes with raised-face or ring-joint facings.
  • Fine rotor balance: Rotors are balanced to a fine ISO grade.
  • Seals and bearings: Seal chambers conform to API 610 dimensions for API 682 cartridge mechanical seals, and bearings can be specified from anti-friction through fully hydrodynamic arrangements.
