The SLV Pneumatic Center-Line Butterfly Valve pairs a concentric butterfly valve with a pneumatic actuator, so flow can be opened, closed or modulated automatically instead of by hand. It is a straightforward, economical way to automate water, air and other low-pressure services across a plant.

  • Body material choice: Bodies are offered in cast iron, carbon steel and several stainless steel grades, so the valve can be matched to the medium and the environment rather than over-specified.
  • The seat does the sealing: The resilient PTFE seat is what gives the tight seal, so seat condition and compatibility with the medium are the main points to check at selection and during maintenance.
  • Best on clean media: Being a concentric (center-line) design, it is best applied on relatively clean, non-abrasive media at moderate pressures.
  • Aggressive chemicals: For aggressive chemicals a lined version is the more suitable choice, and SLV offers one in the same family.
